Logan's Missing Tooth

My little man has lost his 1st tooth. It has been wiggly for quite some time and when he ate an apple yesterday, it came out. He was scared at first but by the time I arrived to pick him up from the sitter he couldn't wait to come home and put the tooth in his Tooth Fairy Pillow. He woke up this morning to find some golden dollar coins in it. He was very excited and wanted to go buy a toy right away.

The Dynamic Duo

Gage and Logan both received Batman pajamas with a cape for their respective birthdays.

BIG Bubbles

Evelyn purchased some monstrous bubble wands at the Orange County Swap Meet and the boys and adults had tons of fun with them. Several of us went back several times both before and after dinner to play with the bubbles. Do you remember that anti-smoking commercial in which everyone blew bubbles instead of lighting up a cigarette? How fun it was!!

Hunting For Eggs

We were invited to dinner at the in-law's home and had a small scale Easter egg hunt in the front year with cousin Adam. Eggs had been hidden in wheel wells, door handles and other places in the front yard. Logan and Adam asked for a repeat so Jason and Matt hid the eggs again for a second round. The joy of watching little boys get excited is contagious.

Bunny Cakes

I attempted to just let go of the control freak in me and let the boys decorate their own bunny cakes. After all of their hard work, they both tasted the coconut and decided that they did not like it so into the trash they went. Oh well. Better in the trash than in my tummy.

Easter 2009

Another Easter has arrived and I am so thankful for the many things that the good Lord has provided for our family(ies) over the year.

Easter Eggs

It is a tradition at my mother-in-laws house that all the kids and grandkids get together the Friday before Easter and dye eggs. Sometimes it is hard to tell who has more fun; the little kids or the big kids. My kids always come home a rainbow of colors as they dip their hands in the dye to get the eggs.

My Baby Is 3!!

I cannot believe that another year has passed and that my little munchkin (ah who am I kidding? He was never little) is 3 years old. Fortunately the weather was a lot nicer and we pulled out our bouncer which freed up some room in the house to visit with family.

Gage's Birthday Cake

Once again, I called up my girlfriend Carmen to help create a train cake for Gage's 3rd birthday. This was fun. I actually baked the round part of the engine in a green bean can and Gage chose the colors that he wanted. Carmen personalized the cake with his name on the engine and the number 3 on the caboose.
